Ryde Eastwood Hawks has had great success in the various Rep competitions that are run by NSW Touch. It is our aim to provide opportunities for those players participating in the local competition to experience these representative competitions.
Junior State Cup - Northern Conference (U8-U18 Boys & Girls)
Played over the third weekend in February and held in Dubbo, this is the largest weekend event on the Touch Football calendar with over 17,000 attendees. The Touch Football Junior State Cup is the largest sporting tournament held in NSW each year and has divisions for under 8’s all the way through to the under 18's. A great opportunity for the aspiring junior player and a chance to be the best team in the state makes this an amazing weekend every year. Trials are usually in October each year.
Vawdon Cup (Junior, Open Divisions Men's & Women's)
Played weekly between late August and early November this competition has a prestigious 35 year history in Sydney. With teams representing affiliates as far away as Penrith, Liverpool, Wollongong & Central Coast as well as everywhere in between, the Vawdon Cup puts you up against some of the best players in the Country. The competition is however still split into skill based divisions so even a beginner has a place to get started. The club has fully accredited coaches in charge of each squad which will help improve your knowledge and skills. Trials and training usually commence in early May.
Senior State Cup (Under 20's to Over 55's Men's & Women's)
Played over the first weekend in December and held in Port Macquarie, this is a weekend holiday with a difference. The Touch Football State Cup is one of the largest sporting tournaments held in NSW each year and has divisions for under 20’s all the way through to the ol’ boys playing in the 55+ division. A great weekend away with your teammates and a chance to be the best team in the state makes this an amazing weekend every year. Trials and training usually follow on from Vawdon Cup in November but new players are always welcome.
N.B To participate in any of these tournaments for our club you must be a current financial and participating member of the existing social competition.
