Below is all the information you need about the 2025 Ryde Eastwood Winter Touch Football Competition.

Competition Details
• Start Date: Monday, 28 April 2025
• Duration: 10 rounds, plus finals
• No Games: Monday, 9 June (King’s Birthday Holiday)

Game Details
• Location: Morrison Bay Park
• Day: Mondays
• Game Duration: 30 minutes (Touch down – turn around)
• Start Times: No earlier than 6:30 PM (exact times depend on the number of teams).

Team Registrations
• Registration Fee: only $500 per team
• Spots Limited: Register your team online as soon as possible to secure a place.
• If you are already registered as a player in the Ryde Eastwood Summer Competition, you are covered for the TFA registration fee.
• Divisions Available: Opens and Mixed teams
• Registration Deadline: Teams must register by 7 April 2025 at the latest.

Competitions:

• 2024-25 Season consists of three separate competitions: Open's, Women's, and Mixed teams.
• Games will be held on Monday nights with start times at 6:00 pm, 6:35 pm, and 7:10 pm.
• Games are intended to be of 30-minute duration with no half-time, and played at Morrison Bay Park and Bremner Park (subject to the number of entries).

​Full payment required before Round 2. Penalties apply for late payment.
 
In addition to the team fee, players will have to pay $22 for Touch Football Australia (TFA) fees if this is the first competition they are registering for in the current financial year. The TFA fee is a one-time payment that grants the player coverage for all competitions they participate in during this financial year.
 
Competition Requirements:

• Player registration will use the electronic registration system developed by Touch Football Australia. Failure to register electronically before playing will not count towards achieving the final series requirement.
• Team uniforms are required by Round 4 with shirts having a unique number on the back that is clearly visible.
• Each team needs to supply 2 duty referees for a maximum of 3 nights throughout the year.
• Players must have played and signed on for 5 games to be eligible for the Finals series.
• Any team forfeiting three times throughout the year will be excluded from the finals series.
• Referee abuse will not be tolerated.
• Ryde Eastwood has adopted the Touch Football Australia (TFA) Code of Ethics, which is a requirement for teams, players, officials, and spectators to abide by.
• As in past years, players are not allowed to play for multiple teams in the one competition. Eg a person cannot play for Eggbeaters in Div 1 Opens and Pushovers in Div 3 Opens.
  People can play in Mixed and Opens or Mixed and Women’s. However, no guarantee can be made that there will not be time clashes if people are playing in two teams.

It will be a 10-round competition starting on Monday 29 April, plus finals. (No games Monday 10 June, King's Birthday holiday)
 
Team registrations
The registration fee is only $500 per team but there are only a limited number of spots available so please complete the on-line registration for your team as soon as possible to ensure you have the best chance of being accepted.
If you are already registered as a player in the Ryde Eastwood Summer competition you will already be covered for TFA registration fee.

Registrations are being taken for Opens and Mixed teams.

Games
Games will be held on Mondays at Meadowbank Park.
Games will be of 30-minute duration. Touch down – turn around.
Timeslots will depend upon the number of teams but will not commence before 6:30 PM.

The 2024 Junior State Cup - Northern Conference will take place in Dubbo – Friday 23rd Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February 2024 Dubbo.

​Upcoming Touch Season (2023 Season)

Additional information:

1. Hawks Reversible Playing Singlets: All players are required to wear the Hawks reversible playing singlets. For new players or past players who need new singlets, these will be available for purchase at a cost of $30.
2. Acceptance of "Active Kids" Vouchers: The club accepts "Active Kids" vouchers, which can potentially be used towards the payment for registration. (Note: "Active Kids" is a program in Australia that provides financial assistance to families to help cover the cost of children's sport and recreation activities.)
3. Electronic Player Registration: Player registration will be done through the electronic registration system developed by Touch Football Australia. The use of this electronic registration system is mandatory for Ryde Eastwood to remain affiliated with NSW Touch.
4. Code of Ethics: Ryde Eastwood has adopted the Touch Football Australia (TFA) Code of Ethics. All teams, players, officials, and spectators are required to abide by this code.
5. Registration Process: To register, you can follow the provided LINK (see button below) or visit the TFA website (https://touchfootball.com.au/) and click on the "Register" icon. Then choose "Register a Team" and type Ryde Eastwood in the "Association or Competition" field. Select the appropriate competition and follow the prompts.
