 It is with deep sadness that the Ryde Eastwood Hawks Touch Association advises of the passing of Darryle Alexander. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Darryle’s family and friends during this difficult time. Darryle was a much-loved and valued member of our club. Even long after officially retiring from representative refereeing, he continued to give his time generously, officiating at Junior and Senior State Cups whenever the club needed him. His dedication and selflessness were truly admirable. Off the field, Darryle was known for his great sense of humour and genuine compassion. He was a person many were proud to call a friend. TEAM REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN Team registrations are now open for the Hawks Senior Summer competition. The competition will commence on Monday, 13 October 2205. It will be held over 14 rounds with a break over the Christmas/New Year period. Key Dates

This includes your insurance+membership to Touch Football Australia ($30) and Touch Football NSW ($30) - For more info on why this has changed see https://nswtouch.com.au/membership-faqs/. These fees only apply to your first compeition for the year, so if you play Jnr + Senior, reps or in multiple teams on Monday night you only pay the NSW and TFA fees once. Mini Hawks is Back for 2025 For Boys & Girls aged 5-8 (Kindy to Year 3) we will be Running the Mini Hawks Program. Starts Monday 20th October 4.30 to 5.15pm (FREE) for 6 weeks. Kids will be coached on the basic skills of touch football in a fun environment by our experienced coaches and representative players. Go to the Mysideline link below to register. Below is all the information you need about the 2025 Ryde Eastwood Winter Touch Football Competition. Competition Details • Start Date: Monday, 28 April 2025 • Duration: 10 rounds, plus finals • No Games: Monday, 9 June (King’s Birthday Holiday) Game Details • Location: Morrison Bay Park • Day: Mondays • Game Duration: 30 minutes (Touch down – turn around) • Start Times: No earlier than 6:30 PM (exact times depend on the number of teams).
