Competitions The competitions will be run on Monday afternoons with games commencing at 4:15 pm, 4:50 pm and 5:25. All games will be played at Morrison Bay Park or Bremner Park. Please note the age criteria below. Age groups do not necessarily align with football and netball. They align with the Touch representative age groups. The cost for 2021 has been reduced from the planned amount to $400 per team (Under 10s and Under 8s $350) if registration is paid prior to week 2. After this date the fees will be $500 per team (Under 10s and Under 8s $450). NB – This is a team fee. The fee is to be collected by the manager and deposited in one transaction to the Ryde Eastwood bank account. You should include the team’s name and competition in the details part of the transaction eg Touchies 12G (Team name = Touchies, age group = Under 12 and gender = Girls) Bank Account details Ryde Eastwood Bank account Account Name: Ryde Eastwood Touch BSB: 633-000 A/c: 1469-07159 Active Kids Vouchers If any of your players wish to use “Active Kids” vouchers then we accept these. The amount that the voucher will cover is equal to the player’s share of the team fee. See examples below _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Example 1– Team Rego fee = $400 Total players registering in team = 10 Individual rego fee = $400 / 10 = $40 No. of active Kids vouchers = 2 Amount to be deducted from rego fee to be paid by EFT = 2 x $40 = $80 Amount to be paid by EFT = $400 - $80 = $320 __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Example 2– Team Rego fee = $400 Total players registering in team = 9 Individual rego fee = $400 / 9 = $44.44 No. of active Kids vouchers = 3 Amount to be deducted from rego fee to be paid by EFT = 3 x $44.44 = $133.33 Amount to be paid by EFT = $400 - $133.33 = $266.67 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ The information required for us to process the “Active Kids” voucher is: 1) Exact name that appears on the Active Kids Voucher (including initial of middle name if it appears on the voucher) 2) Voucher number 3) Date of birth Even though the voucher is for $100, if it is used for this competition the value recognised by the government will only be the value of the personal rego fee. The difference between the $100 and the value of the rego fee will be forfeited. If anyone is having trouble determining the team fee when Active Kids vouchers are involved, please let me know and I will do the calculation for you. Singlets As usual, all players MUST wear the Hawks reversible playing singlets. For new players or past players that need new singlets these will be available for purchase for $25. (A sizing chart is attached.) There will be a singlet distribution night on Thursday 21st October between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM at Morrison Bay Park sheds. In line with COVID-19 guidelines we are trying to limit physical contact and we are requesting that singlets be paid in advance via EFT to the Ryde Eastwood account. As with the rego fees the transaction should include details to enable easy identification. We are also asking for teams to arrange for a single person to pick up the singlets for a team rather than each person come to the singlet distribution night. To assist with the process, it would be appreciated if the singlet requirement form attached to this email could be completed and returned by Monday 18 October so that singlets can be packaged prior to the collection evening. Player Registration Player registration this year will again use the electronic registration system that has been developed by Touch Football Australia. Use of the electronic registration system is a requirement for Ryde Eastwood to remain affiliated with NSW Touch. This has always been important but with the introduction of tracing requirements for COVID-19 it is essential. MySideline Manager has been updated so that you are now able to review directly in the system who has registered to your team. Details of how to access your team list are set out below. Access for Manager to review of registered members MySideline Manager is a web-based application (not an App) which has been created to be compatible with mobile devices with data enabled. It is also able to be used on desktop devices. You can see who has registered to your team using this link to access: https://manager.mysideline.com.au/login and log into nrl.com using email. I have checked the system and you have access. By navigating to the My Members section, you will be able to see who has registered for your team and their details. Web Help Article: MySideline Manager for Touch Football Player placement As has happened in previous seasons, we are lucky enough to have Martin Mulcare looking after the placement of people looking for teams. If Martin contacts you to find out if you need additional players, please give his request due consideration. The more people we are able to get to play Touch the better off we will all be.
