Registration Fees: Fees for the Men’s and Mixed competitions have been reduced from last year: Cost is $850 per team. Full payment is required before commencement of Round 2 of the competition. This will be strictly enforced this year. The club has been let down too many times in the past and some of those times have been by long standing teams. Non-financial teams will not be permitted to play Round 3. To gain re-entry into the competition a fee of $1,000 will need to be paid. Fees for the Women’s competition have been set at a reduced amount in an effort to increase participation in this competition. Cost for teams in the Women’s competition is $500 per team. Full payment is required before commencement of Round 2 of the competition. Non-financial teams will not be permitted to play Round 3. To gain re-entry into the competition a fee of $600 will need to be paid. As with the other competitions this will be strictly enforced this year. A maximum of 14 players are able to be registered in each team. To be eligible to participate in the Finals series, players must have played and signed on for 5 games. Sign on sheets will again be in operation this year. The names on the sheet will reflect the people who have registered by the cut-off time for that week’s games. · EFT – PREFERRED METHOD - (NAME OF ACCOUNT: Ryde Eastwood Hawks Touch Football BSB: 633 000 Acct: 146907159).; Or · Cheque. (To be made payable to “Ryde Eastwood Touch Association”) · Please include your team name + team contact name with the EFT payment or Cheque. This is to allow the matching of the online registration with the payment. Grading of Teams Following the closure of applications, Ryde Eastwood will grade all received team applications into the competitions as long as there are spots available. If the number of teams applying for entry exceed the available spots then the team manager(s) of the team(s) that could not be accommodated in the competition will be notified as soon as practicable and the registration fee refunded. The following items are considered when determining the teams to be accepted and the grading of teams: · Payment of fees. · Team strength and compatibility (relative to grade strength) · Prior history with Ryde Eastwood (e.g. payment of fees, adherence to code of ethics + uniform policy + duty requirements) Competition Requirements: Please note the following important competition requirements · Player registration this year will use the electronic registration system that has been developed by Touch Football Australia. Use of the electronic registration system is a requirement for Ryde Eastwood to remain affiliated with NSW Touch. Sign on sheets will be based on the players registered in the system. If you have not done the electronic registration, any games you play prior to registration will not count towards achieving the final series requirement. Following a number of complaints last year about the eligibility of players in the finals series, we are continuing the system used in the winter competition this year and monitoring games to ensure only registered players are participating. · Team uniforms – By Round 4 o Teams must be dressed in a team uniform o Shirts can be any colour or combination of colours. o Shirts to have a number on the back (min of 16cms) that is clearly visible. (Taped numbers are not acceptable.) o Numbers are to be unique (i.e. No two numbers are to be the same) o No uniform, no number, NO PLAY, no exceptions o Further announcements will be made about this at the managers meeting. · Duty Requirements o Each team will need to supply 2 referees for a maximum of 3 nights throughout the year. o It is anticipated that official referees will be provided for the vast majority of games. However, the purpose of these requirements is to ensure that in the rare cases where this is not the case, that there are sufficient referees to run the competition. o Teams that do not provide Duty Refs on the allocated day and on time will be penalised 3 competition points. A referees’ sign on sheet will be available for completion to verify the duty referees’ attendance. · Referee abuse will not be tolerated · Code of Ethics o Ryde Eastwood has adopted the Touch Football Australia (TFA) Code of Ethics. It is a requirement that teams, players, officials and spectators abide by this code. Should you have any queries, please contact [email protected] Comments are closed.
