Brody Howard is the Hawks Junior Player of the Month for November.
A tough, skilful and uncompromising player, Brody has made his mark with the Hawks over the past ten years. He has been the constant for all of his coaches and allowed the Club to build teams around him. A middle or link, Brody has vision and a strong passing game to complement his tenacity in defence. Every team needs a Brody Howard and he is considered a leader on and off the field. Brody has won numerous awards over the past ten years and nominates his ‘players player’ awards as the most pleasing memories of his time with the Hawks. Combined with a strong Hawks career, Brody has also forged a career in Rugby League and attends the famous Holy Cross College, which is a strong breeding ground for our Club. As Brody’s junior career draws to a close, he has already made inroads into our senior program and has been identified by our senior coaching staff and provided opportunities to train with our Men’s Premier League squad under the guidance of Barry Gibson. One of his recent coaches Adam Nicholas said that ‘Whilst Brody is still developing his game, once he reaches his potential, he could go all the way. Players love playing alongside him and he is always giving 120% at both training and on game day’. Congratulations to Brody on being the Hawks Junior player of the month for November 2020.
