Isaac Miller is the Hawks male player of the month for May.
Anyone who sees him play comes away impressed and agrees that he has the world at his feet. Isaac is one of the smartest and sharpest ten year olds in the Club. He can step off both feet and can burn a defender before they even know they have missed the touch. After playing a leading role for the mighty Leichhardt Juniors and winning a premiership, touch football was the logical next step in testing his speed and silky skills. After two years with the Hawks, his decision has been justified with many good judges identifying Isaac as a rep player of the future and a leader of the team with his words of encouragement and ability to lift the players around him. Whilst he still has a long way to go in his career, the speed, skills, footwork, never say die attitude and determination have plenty of good judges in the district comparing him to a young Luke Brooks. He has been very fortunate to be mentored by Wests Tigers premiership winner Ben Galea and George O’Beid who was a rep touch player himself. Isaac’s coaches both spoke glowingly about his attitude, speed and desire to continually challenge himself to improve. His understanding of the game and his ability to execute the plays on the field is another trait both coaches spoke about. ‘Isaac is a true competitor and a pleasure to coach. He has the skills and ability as a player (and a person) to go all the way in his career if he continues to develop at the rate he is at now. it is hard to believe he is so young when you watch him play with that knowledge and ability to turn a game with his blistering speed’. Congratulations to Isaac on being the Hawks Male Player of the month for May. Comments are closed.
