Ever wondered who the beautiful girl is on the cover page of our website shown supporting her team mate after a loss?
Well it is our Junior Hawks player of the month for March - Kitty Quirk. A simple arm around one of her team mates after a tight loss at the 2020 junior state cup exemplifies the spirit of Kitty and sums up her outlook on life and sport. Kitty embodies many of the qualities you look for in a successful Club culture – she’s unselfish, caring and committed. At the tender age of 10, Kitty is already a veteran of four Junior State Cup tournaments and has made her mark with the Hawks with her dynamic speed and fitness. Her skills and knowledge of the game are improving with every tournament and her greatest asset is her undeniable commitment to her team. At the recent JSC, Kitty had her best defensive tournament ever at link: growing in confidence and skill every game. Her other passion in life is dancing. However, once touch football takes control then all of her focus is shifted to improving her game and giving her best for the team. One of our senior coaches added ‘Kitty is a player who adores her team mates and would do anything for them as well as her coaches. She always gives 100% and in fact lives for the excitement of Junior State Cup. She has made finals at Port and knows how to win. She is the type of player who every coach wants in their team’. Congratulations to Kitty on being named Hawks Junior Player of the Month for March 2021. Comments are closed.
