Patrick Branley has won the prestigious award named in honour of our Hawks Patron and Club legend Ron White.
This award is chosen from all of our volunteers who assisted the Club Rep Program in a variety of roles. The majority of them provide the greatest commodity anyone can give to a community sport and that is their time. Pat was a popular winner after providing service in the following areas during the 2019 / 20 season: § Referee for Vawdon Cup § Referee for SSC § Referee for JSC § Referee for Monday Night Club Competition § Referee for Gala Days § Assistant Coach for u/8 Girls § Assisted with our Hawks Referee Course and Mentor Program This is a remarkable amount of time committed to our Club and to Touch Football in general. Patrick is also a very proud father and recently accepted a role on the Club’s Rep Committee to oversee the recruitment and retention of referees for our Rep Program. One of Patrick’s mentors and current Hawks Board Director Bill Calleja added “ Pat has always been one of the guys to put in. As a referee, a coach, he just gets his hands dirty at junior or senior level. Pat has given his all and in another positive move for the Club, is Pat is offering more time and commitment to our Club. Pat is one of many that could have received this accolade but there is no better recipient. Well done mate“. Congratulations to Pat. He is a fine ambassador for the Hawks Club. Pat can be seen refereeing in the photo below. Comments are closed.
